The Millennium is a period when Jesus Christ will rule the Earth for 1,000 years. This event comes after the tribulation. The word Millennium is derived from the latin words mille (one thousand) and annus (years). We started our adventure in Revelation 20.
Christ's kingdom will begin when Christ returns to Earth at the battle of Armageddon and destroys the Anit-christ and his vast army. Christ will then rule the Earth from the throne of David for at least one thousand years.
There is no limit on the length of the one-thousand-year period. The Bible states that after the first thousand years Satan will be released from the abyss to tempt mankind for the last time. This will be the last tempting of mankind. Christ will know at this time who is with him and who is against him. The faithful will rule with Christ in the eternal kingdom on the New Earth for at least one thousand years.
After six thousand years of satanic domination it will by replaced by an eternal kingdom of righteousness and justice under the Messiah.
When Satan is bound for 1,000 years, the curse of sin will be lifted from the Earth. Christ will solve the social and ecological problems currently ravaging this planet. The restoration of the planet can be seen in the following verse:
(Ezek 47:7 KJV) Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.Christ will heal the dead sea and bring it back 'to life'. This is just a small example of the wonders that will take place in the Millennial Kingdom. In a sense, the world will become young again.(Ezek 47:8 KJV) Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
(Ezek 47:9 KJV) And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
Isaiah gives us these wonderful verses:
(Isa 11:6 KJV) The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.(Isa 11:7 KJV) And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Murder, theft, and rape will be gone forever. This will be the Utopia that man is incapable of creating; it can only exist with the direct influence of God.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Most people born during the Millennium will choose Christ as Lord and Savior. However, some will not. Since they will be born in paradise they will not know of the temptation of sin and experience Satan's tricks he currently bombards the inhabitants of Earth. At this time, Satan will lure some of the nations to take a stand against Christ. These nations will be judged and destroyed.
This is the last and final judgement for the unsaved sinner. All who have rejected Jesus Christ will be present at this final event. This event takes place at the end of the Millennium. The sinner will be judged based on
(James 2:10 KJV) For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Sinners appearing at this time will be judged for their sins and not on the grace of God. Christians are forgiven their sins because we believe and accept Jesus as our personal savior. We know we are sinners and the blood of Christ and the mercy and grace of God is the only thing that can save us.
(Rev 20:12 KJV) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Christians names appear in the book of life.
(Rev 20:13 KJV) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Therefore, the verdict to all those who appear at the White Throne Judgement is a firm and absolute guilty. Then they are thrown into the lake of fire.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
You don't have to go to eternal punishment. You can know the saving power of Christ today and have the assurance of salvation.
